Thank you for joining the Louisiana Math Content Leader Virtual Training Series with A+PEL. We’re excited to support you on your path to becoming a certified Content Leader teacher!

Course Overview

• Format: 8 self-paced modules (videos + resources)
  
  
• Timeline: Typically completed in 4–6 months; A+PEL recommends completion within 1 year. You will retain lifetime access.
  
  
• Module Types:
  
  
  • Content Modules (6): Instructional shifts, content, and high-quality materials.
    
    
  • Leader Modules (2): Training to present Content Modules at your school.
    
    

Note: Since 2022, Google Classroom assignments (including the journal) are optional. You do not need them to receive course credit, but they are highly encouraged for preparation.

• If logging in for the first time, select “Forgot Password” to set up your account and access “My Courses.”
  
  

2. Google Classroom (Optional Resources - Not Required!)

• Use a personal Google account (school GSuite accounts are not compatible).
  
  
• Sign out of all school accounts before joining.

3. Assessments (Required for Add-on Certification Credential)

• To earn the Content Leader add-on certification, you must complete 4 portfolio assessments.
